CDC has a strong relationship with the country of Georgia. Partnering with Georgia’s National Center for Disease Control and Public Health (NCDC) and other ministries, CDC helps develop institutional capacity to detect and respond to disease outbreaks.

CDC has collaborated with the government of Namibia since 2002, to support the national response to the HIV epidemic.

The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) has collaborated with the Ghana Health Service (GHS), Ghana AIDS Commission (GAC), and other agencies since 2009 through the US President’s Emergency Program for AIDS Relief (PEPFAR) to support HIV/AIDS prevention, care, and treatment.

CDC has worked with Tanzania and more than 60 partner organizations since 2001 to address HIV, malaria, and other health threats.
